COPD SOS
Is COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) the most overlooked health problem in America?
It’s the #3 killer among chronic diseases in America.
30 million have it. Half don’t know it.
COPD SOS is changing that. Created with broadcaster Ted Koppel and wife Grace Anne (who’s battled COPD for decades), it shares real stories to sound the alarm about COPD’s true impact.
CNN, Disney, and other networks donated media for our PSAs. Lyle Lovett hosted a concert for the cause. Race car driver Joe Morrison used his Right2Breathe platform to spark thousands to take our COPD self-assessment.
The campaign will continue until we find the Missing Millions and get more people the help they deserve.
